You must like Front-end very much. Positive emotions are our engine of work process, and we like to keep it that way further.

Necessary to know:

HTML/CSS

• Ability to create understandable and reusable components
• You should be able to find html/css bugs without throwing monitor to the nearest window
• Knowledge of main frontend pitfalls is necessary (such as collapsing margins and vertical centering of blocks)

Javascript/jQuery

• Ajax
• Ability to comment your code (boring, but helps)
• Understandable and reusable components
• Ability not to fall into infinite loop of facepalms regarding strict and abstract comparisons in javascript
• Basic knowledge of asynchronous javascript pain

Nice-to-have:

• SASS, including loops and maps
• GIT basics
• AngularJS
• Useful habits of programming in big projects
