Responsibilities:

• Design and apply operational risk management techniques within the group internal control environment;
• Reviews and drafts regulatory compliance policies, procedures and guidelines;
• Work proactively with multiple departments / countries to design and implement solutions to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal control environment;
• Document and monitor key non-financial risks. Prepare regular summaries to the management;
• Develop / implement risk-assessment methodologies;
• Providing support, education and training to staff within the group members;
• Balance business objectives against standardization on Non-Financial Risk Management, Know Your Customer processes;
• Cross-country coordination, support and assurance of risk management improvement projects - from initial design, to business case development and implementation planning;
• Assure risk improvement roadmaps, across group and local risk-related change projects. Facilitate lessons learned and systematically facilitate collaboration;
• Act as a champion for risk management and continuous improvement. Challenge and support/coordinate execution of risk improvement programs;
• Coordinate on the group level creation and management of COB (Continuity of Business) processes;
• Coordinate / ensure regulatory compliance within the group members;
• Analyze new legislation to determine impact on risk exposure, suggest action plan to address potential risk exposure;
• Consolidation of audits of policy and compliance to standards.
   

Skills:

• Hands on mentality and work style;
• Enjoying working in international environment;
• Previous work experience related to Non-Financial Risks (Operational, Compliance, Regulatory), Internal Control;
• Experience in development of internal procedures / policies;
• Past experience in creating Continuity of Business processes is a strong plus;
• Should be confident in presenting the outcomes of their work;
• Deal with multiple priorities and should therefore be highly organized and be able to multi-task;
• Prior experience in financial services with emphasis on unsecured consumer lending industry is a plus;
• Thrive in very fast-paced working environment.
