As a valued member of our Business Intelligence team you will work closely with the clients, assist them with data driven decisions and provide overall reporting on portfolio performance. Focus will be on developing Tableau data visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop data visualizations that indicate specific data analysis findings
• Assist clients with data needs
• Perform regular data analysis and reporting tasks
• Propose suggestions on how to improve analysis and data driven decisions
• Develop, implement, and conduct analysis on meaningful reports to facilitate decision making
• Gain expertise in data science and analysis by staying abreast on best practices and methodologies
• Present data in clear, easy to digest way

Requirements

• 2+ years related work experience.
• Preferred prior experience in Data Analysis, Quality Assurance, Project or Process Management.
• University degree in computer sciences, mathematics or other exact sciences

• Previous experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlick or similar)
• Ability to demonstrate creative thinking and passion about data and data analysis
• Hunger for information and data driven conclusions
• Ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
• Ability to be careful and thorough about details
• Ability to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems
• Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Office programs and has advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work on medium to complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
• Ability to exercise independent judgment
• Ability to multi-task and to work under pressure
• Ability to effectively implement change while maintaining and enhancing internal customer relationships
• Ability to effectively manage stakeholders
• At least two years’ experience writing queries in SQL

Nice to have skills

• Knowledge of statistics
• Knowledge of statistical tools/libraries (R, python, matlab)
• Knowledge of scripting/programming languages (python, vb, js)
• Knowledge of data storage formats (CSV, json, symbol/length delimited)
• Knowledge in BI and/or Data Warehousing
• Previous experience with Big Data and event analysis
