Job Description

As a valued member of our BI team you will monitor, analyze and validate data as well as suggest and implement improvements to data collection, quality and usage while serving as a bridge between the BI and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and suggest improvements to data extraction, structuring and processing to ensure that important data assets are formally managed throughout the enterprise and data quality is preserved
• Ensure that data definition, quality and usage processes and procedures are in place and are followed
• Perform non-conformance investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative action efforts throughout the value stream
• Develop, implement, and conduct analysis on meaningful reports to facilitate decision making
• Drive accountability throughout the organization to an end state of zero defects and maximum efficiency
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to establish and maintain effective relationships, resolve issues, and facilitate positive change
• Document processes and procedures using standard methodologies and tools
• Gain expertise in quality and efficiency optimization by staying abreast on best practices and methodologies
• Maintain an enterprise wide data dictionary
• Map data flow in the organization

Requirements

• 2+ years related work experience
• Preferred prior experience in Quality Assurance, Data Analysis, Project Management
• Ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
• Ability to be careful and thorough about detail
• Ability to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems
• Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Office programs 
• Ability to drive project timelines to completion with a cross-functional team
• Ability to work on medium to complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
• Ability to exercise independent judgment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and to work under pressure
• Ability to effectively implement change while maintaining and enhancing internal customer relationships

Desirable:

• Knowledge / proficiency in SQL
• Knowledge of Tableau tool
• Knowledge in BI and/or Data Warehousing
