HITCONTRACT

We are looking for a Back-end Java Developer for our client in a fast schedule.

Senior back-end developer is responsible for implementation of customer’s online service at customer’s premises in Helsinki, Finland. A customer is renewing their B2B online services related to selling and managing complex telecom products and services (the client is a telecom operator). The project has been on-going already for two years but now one developer has changed assignment and needs to be replaced. The Java developer will be working as part of an experienced agile team and in cooperation with other developers - however, it is important to be able to work independently, too. The assignment is 80% on-site in Helsinki and is estimated to be finished at some point in the summer (duration will be negotiated with the consultant).

Responsibilities:

Workload estimations for the implementation tasks;
Development, unit testing and API testing;
Defect fixing and root cause analysis;
Technical documentation;
Following solution provider (Hybris) good practices in development.

Technical skills (BE developer):

Java;
REST APIs;
Integrations;
Hybris (is an advantage but is NOT mandatory).

Other skills:

Good communication skills;
Proactive and customer oriented attitude;
Working with Scrum or other agile teams;
English (Finnish is a big advantage).
