Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of extensive hands-on working with Oracle products’ installation, backup&recovery, performance troubleshooting
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced of multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows);
• Experienced with Oracle tools (DATAPUMP, rman)
• Experienced in writing/modifying code written in PL/SQL, shell, perl, python  to automate daily routines (administration, monitoring)
• Solid understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions

• Ability to document tasks, system features, procedures;
• Ability to drive technical incident resolution; work independently in proactive way with involved parties;
• Ability to plan and implement system changes;
• Ability to work on many tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment;
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of English (spoken and written);

Advantage if you have knowledge of:

• Oracle ASM, DataGuard, RAC;
• Java application server administration and troubleshooting (jboss, glassfish, tomcat,jetty, oas, weblogic);
• MySQL (administration, replication, tuning, backups);
• MS SQL Server and IIS tuning and troubleshooting;

Responsibilities:

• Maintain environment of applications, databases and User Interfaces in line with requirements;
• Resolve system related incidents and problems ;
• Plan and implement system changes;
• Execute routine tasks on daily basis (environment configuration, release deployment, environment refresh, etc.);
• Evaluate performance of overall solution and make recommendations for improvements / upgrades;
• Design and setup HA (high availability) solutions;
• Develop and enhance system monitoring;
• Develop and maintain scripts for system support purposes;
• Develop disaster recovery plans (DRP) and test them on regular basis;
• Provide delivery for technical and legal system audit purposes;
• Support in proactive manner development, operation and business teams;
• Learn and administer custom applications solutions;
• Establish, maintain and document system configuration (backup/recovery policies, maintenance procedures;
• Participate in 24x7 on-call responsibilities including driving Root Cause Analysis (RCA);
• Work off hours to perform maintenance and install upgrades;
