What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join our IT team. In this role you will be a central point of integration for our different system components and will be working with experienced engineers, devops and product managers in a challenging, stimulating expanding environment.

You are expected to work independently and deliver high quality code in a timely manner across a variety of product engagements. You look for ways to improve our stack and constantly pay off technical debt and you pride yourself in being a quick learner of various technologies. We believe you recognize yourself in some or all of the following;

• More than 2 years of work experience as a Back-end developer
• Experience with PHP. If you have solid experience with other technologies but are willing to use PHP, then we're ready to talk
• Fluent in SQL
• Can find your way around a Linux environment
• Ability to work in areas outside of our usual comfort zone, and get things done quickly
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude

Requirements

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
• Follow emerging technologie
