YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES

• Professional and disciplined leadership of well-trained teams with around 15 employees;
• Responsibility for the IT budget and management of external services (shop system, mobile App, ordering software, production control software, testing, hosting and internal IT administration);
• Monitoring of the efficient, cost-effective and punctual implementation of our projects;
• Coordinating the optimal distribution of activities and the budgeting of our various shops in different countries;
• Management and delivery of innovative projects such as 3D.me and api.picanova.com.
• Developing effective and timely IT strategies with a focus on innovation internationalisation and our company’s goals;
• Ensuring the implementation of our short and long-term IT strategies;
• Understanding and overview of new trends and technologies and a proactive benchmarking in the e-commerce industry and the competitive environment.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of study in computer science or a comparable discipline;
• Experience in the disciplined and professional leadership of employees;
• Adept in the control and management of external service providers as well as respective contract negotiations;
• Advanced social and methodical competence and an overall enjoyment of leadership and teamwork in an international environment;
• Has a business-mindset, integrity and is able to persuade effectively;
• Willingness to travel (the role is split equally between the offices in Cologne and Riga);
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
