Summary
Responsibilities
- Provides first level support to Solvay end users on a variety of IT and Business issues
- Responds to telephone calls, email and self-service requests for technical support in a professional and courteous manner and in accordance with established Help Desk quality guidelines
- Identifies, documents, researches, troubleshoots and escalates issues to ensure timely resolution
- Follows documented Help Desk procedures
- Provide rotating weekend support coverage
Requirements
- Preferable Technical education in IT or related field
- Previous experience in a Call Center / Help Desk environment
- Intermediate knowledge and practical experience in MS Windows XP, Windows 7 and Office 2010/2013
- Intermediate knowledge of networking and printer diagnostics
- Strong Team and Customer Service Focus
- Fluent English proficiency, knowledge of German language is an advantage
