You would run an eCommerce blog giving tips, advice and unique insights into industry best practices. Your audience would consist of savvy business owners and people who have just started providing goods and services to the masses all over the world. Our aim is to build a blog that becomes the 'Authority' for Shopify store-owners to read all about eCommerce tactics to increase sales on their store.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of our blog and become a domain expert on Shopify and eCommerce sales via Shopify, producing content to help other shopify owners
• Research and analyze best practices about the eCommerce world
• Manage a team of content producers from around the globe
• Review shopify plugins, stay up to date on changes on the shopify software
• Develop a content release plan

Requirements

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
• Experience with different eCommerce platforms, mainly Shopify
• Good knowledge and understanding of SEO
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics, WordPress and Google Webmaster tools
• Advanced proofreading and editing skills

Role details and future opportunities

• Full-time salaried position
• Preferred work from our headquarters in Old Riga but are open to remote work
• Enter into other areas for content curation such as Design/UX, Magento, Wordpress, Customer Service and others
• Expand content curation into videos, ebooks, youtube shows, etc.
• Manage an army of content producers
