Responsibilities: 

• Plan and build optimized data extraction routines for source systems
• Develop semantic layers on product data
• Work together with data scientists on machine learning solutions
• Work together with product teams on their needs and opportunities
• Contribute to designing future data architectures enabling a data-driven organization

 Requirements:

• Experience in working with high data volumes and transfer rates
• Strong skills in relational databases and other storage technologies
• Data modeling, data access, data storage techniques
• Good knowledge of best practices for software development
• Good knowledge of programming languages needed for data extraction and manipulation. Ability to learn new languages quickly
• Experience with Linux and shell scripting
• Cloud services and infrastructure
• Experience with large-scale data processing systems such as Spark would be a plus
