Duties

Candidates will be introduced to our international development team, focused on Web and E-Commerce development, and will be working on complex projects for prestigious clients. 

• Develop and maintain existing digital properties
• Contribute to design, estimation and development of leading-edge, new websites, web applications and E-commerces for our portfolio of international clients and partners.

 Skills Required for Frontend Developers

• Competence in frontend development for websites, webapps and e-commerces, possibly in one or more of the following technologies: Magento 2, Demandware, Shopify, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, React, node.js.
• Very good grasp of Frontend Technologies HTML5 and CSS3, and related frameworks (Less, Sass, Bootstrap, Foundation or similar)
• Very good knowledge of Vanilla Javascript as well as its major frameworks, such as: JQuery, KnockoutJS, RequireJS, React, node.js.
• Hands-on experience of frontend optimization following Google’s Page Speed Insights / Lighthouse, GTMetrix and other similar tools.
• Very good understanding of the inner workings of modern desktop and mobile browsers, as well as the tools and practices for optimization and debugging.
• Good knowledge of development tools (IDE, debugger, profiler, ...)
• Understanding of the inner workings of local and CDN caching (Varnish, Redis, Akamai…) and its impact on frontend development.
• Some knowledge of PHP7/MySQL

Following skills will be considered a plus for Frontend Developers

• Basic knowledge of Docker
• Basic knowledge of Version Control (Git/SVN)
• Knowledge of Linux
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology.

Skills Required for Backend Developers

• Competence in development for websites, webapps and e-commerces, possibly for one or more of the following technologies: Magento 2, Demandware, Shopify, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, React, NodeJS.
• Fluency in  PHP7 and OOP
• Very good knowledge of development tools (IDE, debugger, profiler, ...)
• Good knowledge of Vanilla Javascript as well as its major frameworks, such as: JQuery, KnockoutJS, RequireJS, React, node.js.
• Knowledge of Frontend Technologies HTML5 and CSS3, and related frameworks (Less, Sass, Bootstrap, Foundation o similar), capability of taking care of small to mid complexity frontend task in autonomy.
• Good experience in MySQL/MariaDb
• Good knowledge of Docker
• Fluent in GIT
• Understanding of inner workings of local and CDN caching (Varnish, Redis, Akamai…)

Following skills will be considered a plus for Frontend Developers

• Knowledge of Linux
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology.

Education required:  None (but a STEM bachelor or master will be considered a plus)

Work experience required proven participation in at least one development project as stated above.
