Duties

Candidates will be introduced to our international development team, focused on Web development, and they will be working on complex projects for prestigious clients.

• Develop and maintain existing digital properties
• Contribute to design, estimation and development of leading edge, new websites and web applications for our portfolio of international clients and partners.

 Skills Required

• Truly passionate about the latest and greatest technologies and best practices.
• Total command on WordPress 5+, WordPress API, Hooks, and core WP plugins (AFC, WPML, YOAST, etc.)
• Capability of developing a stand-alone WordPress Themes and Plugins by yourself.
• Fluency in  PHP7/MySQL as well as OOP.
• Good skills in slicing a psd design file with Photoshop into responsive HTML, additionally hands-on experience on more vertical tools like Invision.
• Very good knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Responsive web design (possibly with Bootstrap), SASS, Vanilla JavaScript, jQuery and the next Big Frontend Thing.
• Good grasp on the subject of desktop and mobile frontend optimization, including but not limited to the parameters evaluated in Google’s Page Speed Insights / Lighthouse, GTMetrix and other similar tools, which are paramount to us.
• Good Knowledge of SEO-friendly HTML.
• Very good understanding of the inner workings of modern desktop and mobile browsers, as well as the tools and practices for optimization and debugging.
• Good knowledge of development tools (IDE, debugger, profiler, ...)
• Understanding of the inner workings of local and CDN caching (Varnish, Redis, Akamai…) and its impact on frontend development.
• Knowledge of any kind of Version Control platform (preferably GIT)

 Following skills will be considered a plus

• Experience in API use and/or development
• Knowledge of other frameworks or libraries (React, Angular, node JS, etc.)
• Knowledge of any other platform like Drupal, Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology.

 Personal skills required:

• Good level of English, spoken and written and willingness to test both every day.
• Attitude to problem solving.
• Very high attention to details and passion for perfect and timely deliveries.
• Must be a team player but capable of working alone and self-motivated;
• Flexibility, ability to work in different projects with different technologies, keeping focus and enthusiasm.
