Responsibilities

• Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements
• Explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources
• Analyse data to spot trends and find correlations between different types of data
• Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities
• Prepare and distribute reports for further analysis
• Provide training and assistance to users for generation of adhoc reports
• Establish and implement data quality controls
• Prepare and update documentation and implement change control processes

Requirements

• University degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics/IT or equivalent experience
• SQL knowledge (query performance tuning, index maintenance, etc.) as well as an understanding of database structure
• Knowledge of at least one ETL tool
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies is considered as an advantage
• Passionate about complex data structures
• Strong analytical, problem solving and business judgmental skills
• Comfortable working in English and Latvian
