Responsibilities

• working with state-of-the-art anti-fraud and cyber-security systems to discover fraud cases and other security incidents;
• investigating and deep-diving into separate incidents;
• resolving and escalating incidents according to pre-defined workflows;
• documenting the investigations and relevant IOC’s;
• improving fraud detection and prevention processes, methods and techniques;
• developing methodologies of discovering new types of fraud.

Requirements

• strong interest in cyber security and technical aspects of it;
• intermediate knowledge of information security and social engineering aspects of it;
• ability to work with big data, discover trends, develop new fraud detection models;
• knowledge of SQL like languages, ability to write queries and interpret the outcome;
• analytical mindset, methodical approach to problems and their resolutions;
• self-starter personality with pro-active approach to resolving issues and improving security posture of the bank;
• ability to independently learn new skills and tools;
• excellent English language skills.

You will have advantage, if you have:

• knowledge of scripting languages (i.e. Python) and data manipulation frameworks;
• understanding of security monitoring concepts (i.e. SIEM);
• ability to use broad IT knowledge to discover, interpret and describe TTP’s used by bad actors;
• good Latvian and/or Russian language skills.
