Your team size: 6 employees (PM/Analyst, Data Integrations Expert, SQL Developer, Tester, Support specialists)

Solutions: in the Reporting and Business Intelligence field (based on Microsoft Technologies)

Working condition: full time work (part time is an option to be discussed); working at the office or/and remotely; small friendly team and flat company structure

Responsibilities

During the first year you will be focusing on:

• Taking part in the change development and implementation (according to our clients' standards and processes)
• Developing technical solutions and deploying changes to clients’ environments (complying with existing system architecture)
• Gathering technical requirements for future solutions (in close cooperation with your colleagues)
• Supporting documentation on product design (both for internal use and for clients’ use)

Within a year we would like you to:

• Make recommendations on improvements to data processes, including data mining, efficient report production, data integrity
• Communicate with our or clients’ development team on the further product development (both functionality and user experience)
• Develop various ETL jobs for clients’ Data Warehouse

We don’t expect you to be a Junior for years!

Requirements

For comfortable work you should have:

• Good understanding and practical experience with SQL and one or more Databases
  (MySQL or Microsoft SQL or PostgreSQL or Firebird)
• Understanding and some practical experience in MS SQL Administration
• Good Excel knowledge (to make a proof of concept on a smaller data set, if needed)
• Critical thinking, good troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills and proactivity
• Latvian, Russian, English*

Will make your life easier:

• Understanding of product development process
• Familiarity with REST, Azure DevOps, Azure Analysis Service
• Experience in working with any analytical tools, reporting or BI
