QA Specialist

Who you are:

• You are a sharp, experienced software development engineer in testing, with strong problem-solving skills and solid software testing foundation;
• You are an individual with a strong drive for results, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team;
• You should be capable of understanding complex systems and developing the tools to test them.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, functional requirements, user cases and provide feedback for a clear understanding of each requirement;
• Develop and maintain a test suite to verify new features (functional and non-functional) and capabilities identified for each release;
• Design, develop, implement and maintain automated and manual test plans to address all functional and technical requirements and run load testing, functional testing, unit testing, regression testing, negative scenario testing, integration testing.

Requirenments:

• Experience testing across desktop web browsers;
• Experience with SQL—writing queries, creating and executing stored procedures, writing scripts to test data;
• Working knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., Atlassian Jira);
• Solid understanding of general quality assurance/software testing processes, methodologies, and procedures.

Nice to have:

• Experience developing automated tests for modern distributed applications;
• Experience creating automated tests for REST APIs.

There is no one-size-fits-all here, we are quite flexible and use an individual approach with every candidate we meet. We don’t want to set any limits, but if we are naming numbers, then the starting point for this position is not less than 1150 EUR gross per month.
