Responsibilities:

• Proactive collaboration in the project team to help develop the product using your experience;
• Developing and maintaining backend for mobile application;
• Coming up with new solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in building Java applications
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented and functional programming, you know what is polymorphism, why immutability is good and what is pure function
• You have SOLID grasp of essential design patterns, you know why Singletons are bad
• Not afraid of RxJava, you know how flatMap is different from map, what is Maybe, Single and Completable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You enjoy learning new things
• You know what is software testing, how it all works and actually apply it
• Fluent in English and Russian.

Following would be considered as advantages:

• Experience with stream processing, you know what it is and when to use it
• Experience with other programming languages (Kotlin, Python, Erlang, JavaScript, Scala, etc) is a plus
• Experience with AI and machine-learning is a plus
• The more algorithms and data-structures you know, the better
