What you will do:

• Drive the Apps automated testing of a product at each stage of the development cycle;
• Work closely with the Product Owner and Developers to understand functional requirements and acceptance criteria;
• Involved in the Development Cycle, understanding the code upon which the application is built on a deep level;
• Supporting the relevant scrum events; planning/user story estimation, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews/ demos & retros to ensure that quality code, based on solid unit testing principles are released into Production on a regular CI cycle;
• Constantly embed Apps automated testing techniques, particularly to support regression testing within Sprint and for releases;
• Constantly demonstrate that quality and the customer is always the focus;
• Support the development of Mintos standards/tools/techniques for Apps Automated Testing through collaboration with other Mintos QAs;
• Act as the champion for test-driven development and automated testing - provide coaching/support for Developers in Test and Product Developers where required;
• Support an effective and accurate test environment is in place for Apps automation.

What you need to know/have:

• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies;
• Proven work experience in software development;
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance;
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes;
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing;
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools;
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting;
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process;
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus;
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
