As a SeniorJava Developer of our smart, friendly, self-driven, and passionate engineering team, you'll have a direct impact on the future success of Mintos as a technology-driven business.This role will have you involved in the continual revolutionising of the fintech industry that Mintos has been the centre of.If you have hands-on experience developing software with agile methodologies and are ready to lead our junior developers, we’d like to meet you. 

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to manage the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release. The responsibilities also include gathering system and user requirements, building Java modules and testing features before release. Ultimately, you will deploy and maintain functional, secure and high-quality applications.

You will:

• Identify and analyze user requirements, closely working with Product Owner, Payments;
• Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle;
• Write well-designed, efficient code;
• Develop high load Java applications;
• Review, test and debug team members’ code;
• Design database architecture;
• Schedule product releases with internal teams;
• Document development phases;
• Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date.

Your professional skills and background:

• Advanced level knowledge of Java 8+
• Solid OOD and OOP skills are required
• Strong understanding of modern Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Services, etc)
• Experience developing applications that support high traffic volumes
• Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito)
• Exposure to modern software practices such as TDD, CI/CD, etc.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to functional programming concepts is a plus
• Experience with reactive programming (RxJava, Reactor) is a plus
• Working experience with AWS cloud platform is a plus
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• BSc in Computer Science or a related field required
• Good level of written and spoken English is a must

Compensation:

• Salary: 4,200 - 5,000 Euro per month gross depending on the level of experience, with numerous benefits that add value to the overall monthly compensation;
