We seek innovatively and experienced Data Scientist who is motivated, creative, and a team player to help grow our team and enhance our IT product.

You Will:

• Identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
• Mine and analyze data, drive optimization and improvement of product development and business strategies
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets

You should apply if you: 

• Are Latvian based and are eligible to attend our Riga based office
• Have experience in data science for at least for 3 years
• Have good knowledge of MySQL or any other relational database
• Have a solid understanding of ETL processes
• Have knowledge of at least one programming language (PHP, Golang, Python)
• Have knowledge of code versioning systems (Git)
• Have knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts
• Have strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
• Have very good verbal and written communication skill knowledge of English
• Are passionate about data modeling process and analysis especially in the Fintech space
• Have the drive to learn new technologies and techniques

Considered a bonus if you: 

• Have knowledge of the Scrum process
• Have experience with Tableau and Qlik Software
• Have knowledge of big data processing frameworks
• Have experience working with and creating data architectures
• Have experience working in a fintech or payments company
