Summary

Role Description:
The PPC Team Lead drives large-scale e-commerce advertising across Scandinavia, the Baltic States, and Europe—primarily through Google Ads, and other paid media platforms as relevant. This is a hands-on role focused on improving performance outcomes (more conversions, less wasted spend) while raising execution quality across the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage PPC strategy, planning, and execution across paid channels (Google, Meta, Criteo, affiliates)
  • Manage campaign lifecycle: setup, launch, optimization, testing roadmap, and ongoing improvements
  • Actively identify and resolve issues, implement improvements to capitalize on opportunities—finding creative solutions based on business needs and goals
  • Own budget planning, pacing, forecasting, and reporting for paid channels
  • Lead performance measurement and insights: dashboards, reporting cadence, and actionable recommendations
  • Improve targeting and audience strategy based on behavior, funnel data, and results
  • Ensure tracking and attribution are accurate (pixels/tags/conversions), and troubleshoot escalations
  • Coordinate creative and messaging with internal teams; ensure assets support performance goals
  • Manage external agencies/partners, mentor PPC team members and act as the go-to expert for high-impact problem solving
  • Monitor competitive activity and market shifts to inform positioning and offers
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on PPC / performance marketing experience (e-commerce preferred)
  • Budget responsibility: planning, pacing, reallocations, and efficiency control
  • Proven impact on results (ROAS/CAC/CPA, conversion rate, revenue growth)
  • Daily ownership of Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping, Performance Max), including scaling and optimization
  • Hands-on tracking and attribution work with GA4 and GTM, including conversion troubleshooting
  • Experience with GMC and product feeds (diagnostics, disapprovals, feed/campaign alignment).
  • Cross-functional collaboration with creative/content, IT/development, and localization teams
  • Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills are required for working with software and developing solutions tailored for international audiences and users

As an advantage:

  • 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or coaching PPC specialists (reviews, feedback, process improvements)
  • Experience running structured testing (creative, audiences, landing pages) and applying learnings
  • Experience with Meta Ads and/or Microsoft Ads; Criteo and affiliate networks are a plus
