Role Description

The role of a Web Developer involves building, and maintaining websites and web applications according to best practices. They are proficient in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL and JavaScript, and often work closely with project manager and other team members to create features that meet organizational requirements. Additionally, Web Developers may also be responsible for optimizing site performance, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and testing features and resolving bugs.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a WEB developer to join our team and work on our eCommerce solution spanning across multiple markets and brands. As a Web developer, you will have the opportunity to work in a team with other developers and contribute to developing storefront, integrations and back-office functions.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a developer role working on commercial projects
• Deep knowledge of PHP, JS, CSS, HTML and how the WEB works
• Experience writing React or VueJS applications
• A good understanding of GraphQL, REST and other API technologies
• Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported back-end framework/s — Symfony, Laravel or other
• Proficiency with Git / Version control. Appreciation for clean and well documented code
• Expertise and experience with MySQL or other RDBMS. NoSQL will be appreciated as a bonus
• Experience with Magento, Shopify or other eCommerce platforms will be considered as a bonus
