TECHNICAL SUPPORT TEAM LEAD

Position summary:

This is a position for a seasoned team leader with sound experience in Desktop Support. You will require a good mix of technical, communication and leadership skills to achieve desired results.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Lead a team of Desktop Support engineers;
• Recruit and provide on-boarding to new team members;
• Ensure Desktop infrastructure is in a good working order;
• Maintain IT equipment and software inventory up to date and report to relevant parties;
• Ensure problems related to end-points (incl. software and hardware) are timely addressed;
• Implement processes and standards to improve efficiency of both your team and Desktop infrastructure;
• Plan projects in the area of Desktop Support and resources necessary to execute those projects;
• Monitor project execution, manage changes and report results/status;
• Communicate with stakeholders at different organizational levels to understand their requirements.

We are looking for the following experience and skills:

• You have worked with both Mac OS and Linux desktop operating systems;
• You worked in environment with 200 or more Desktops/laptops and had at least few Desktop engineers under your supervision;
• You have an experience developing optimal hardware specification for PCs, Laptops and Printers and understand what requirements should be accounted in;
• You have participated in office relocation;
• You have experience communicating with Hardware/Software vendors;
• Experience working in a distributed environment is a big advantage. 

There is no one-size-fits-all here, we are quite flexible and use an individual approach with every Candidate we meet. While getting familiar during our interview, we try to understand where your working experience, professional skills and future contribution to the company can be applied within our multiple business projects.

We don’t want to set any limits, but if we are naming the numbers, then the starting point for this position is not less than 2860 EUR gross per month.
