Responsibilities

• Work closely with the founders to define the product vision and technical strategy, and ultimately drive the execution of this vision;
• Set up processes, and best practices defining architecture, etc.
• Be hands-on in delivering early pilots;
• Build and manage the development roadmap, define and track KPIs, progress, and budget;
• Manage a tech team of in-house and outsourced workers and work with recruitment to expand the engineering team;
• Build and lead a passionate engineering team to continually develop the product in alignment with the broader strategy and vision;
• Work with security, compliance, and legal teams to ensure that the technical processes adhere to enterprise requirements;
• Roadmap a 3-year technical vision on developing an extensible platform due to our many opportunities, while building a power experimenting engine to help us find new use cases;
• Making executive decisions on behalf of the company's tech requirements.

Requirements

• Hands on experience building and scaling technical solutions (development background);
• Experience building high performance and reliable API solutions for technology companies;
• The capability to drive the product build on both front-end and back-end with a start-up/agile mindset;
• A proven track record in technical leadership roles, hiring, managing, and growing a team;
• Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing environment.
