Responsibilities

• Responsibility for maintenance and development of core services (Windows Server Services, Hosting, Virtualization, Monitoring, Backup);
• Sharing knowledge, train colleagues about technologies used for core services;
• Hosting services provider management (task delegation, follow-up and quality checks);
• Identifying organization’s needs regarding the cores services and satisfy the requirements;
• Participation in IT solution development, implementation and improvement projects;
• Developing and carrying out acceptance testing procedures to make sure systems are working properly;
• Verification that systems meet quality standards and procedures;
• Coordinating the work of contractors within responsibility area.

Requirements

• Solid experience and good knowledge of:

     - Windows server administration (AD, DNS, GPO, RMS, DFS, RDS, Federation Services, Trusts);

     - Tasks automation using Scripting (Batch, PowerShell, MS System Center orchestrator);

• Experience and good knowledge considered as an advantage:

     - DB administration (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL);

     - Basic network administration (Network equipment configuration LAN, WAN and wireless);

     - Monitoring (Zabbix);

     - Backup, Replication, DRS techniques;

     - Virtualization and cloud technologies (VMware, Azure cloud);

     - IT systems documentation library management;

• Fluent Latvian and English languages;
• Ability to address business needs with supporting IT solutions;
• Strong learning aptitude and ability to learn new technologies independently;
• Readiness to travel mostly within Baltic countries.
