Your role in the company

The Head of Engineering is all about management, internal communication and delivery — getting the product out the door on time while ensuring the development team is motivated. This is a role that works in close​collaboration with CTO​.

What you will do

• Take responsibility for development milestones, progress, and issues
• Help CPO to set up product roadmaps with the development team
• Take responsibility for development budget
• Collaborate on a complete product lifecycle from concept to execution
• Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment in development team
• Implement new tools and processes to improve work efficiency
• Develop standards and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained
• Know how to recruit and grow top talent in development

We are looking for

•  5+ years of experience in a leadership role and background in software developing
• Experience in managing and scaling technical teams in a leadership role (ideally in a startup environment) as well as high-performance individual contributors
• Demonstrated ability to define crisp, measurable goals
• Proven track record of successfully communicating with multiple stakeholders - incl. development team, the leadership team, other company functions or external vendors
• Proven experience in establishing the right processes that ensure reliability and scalability in a fast-paced and ambitious environment
