What challenges do we offer you?

You will be part of an agile team focused on data warehouse platform development and should be ready to handle a variety of tasks within the team. You will work in close collaboration with other development team members and Product Owner within processes and services. We work together with operational systems across Swedbank group to ensure efficient data integration from various source systems and transforming this data into our data warehouse core model. Our people are responsible for end-to-end solution from analysis, design, development, test and maintenance of our processes and services.

Your main responsibility will be to analyze, test and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes as well as build complex data models and related database structures, following the general architectural principles. You will take part in technical testing, troubleshooting, solving incidents/problems, delivery approvals, and managing our services.

What would help you to succeed in this role?

As a Software Engineer in Data Warehouse, we expect you to be motivated individual, with good analytical thinking and constant desire to grow and self-develop yourself in the field. You have a relevant university degree (or in acquisition) or proven technical experience within IT/Engineering and have a solid combination of the following requirements:

• Experience with databases (preferably Oracle/Teradata) and SQL;
• Familiar with workflow orchestration and data integration specifics and tools (ETL; e.g Oracle Data Integrator is considered as an advantage)
• Test plans, cases and scenarios creation, Experience in test automation is an advantage
• Experience working in test, change and release processes would be an advantage

You are team-oriented and able to generate a spirit of cooperation. You are naturally open-minded and communicative person (also fluent in English).

Salary for this position ranges between 1700-2550  EUR gross i.e. before taxes*.

*In Swedbank salary offer for the final candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position, and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate. Salary is one part of the overall remuneration including variety of other benefits and many opportunities provided by Swedbank.
