Who are you?

• • Passionate about designing web applications with a "state of the art" User Experience.
  • At least 3 years of Web and UX design experience
  • Competent in all of facets of the design process, and talented in Interaction Design and Information Architecture.
  • A well-rounded UX/UI professional who connects the dots between business needs, innovation and good design.
  • Obsessed with good user-centered design practices and have an eye for detail.
  • Experienced at creating and revising information architecture documents and diagrams including but not limited to: content diagrams, content maps, wire frame diagrams, comprehensive diagrams and prototypes.
  • Passionate about understanding and sharing current and emerging UX/UI trends.
  • Strong knowledge and skilled in HTML5/CSS/SAS/Webpack and Responsive/Adaptive design. 
  • Knowledge of Webpack encore and ReactJS is a plus
  • Familiar with technologies and tools for Prototyping (Invision, Axure), Image editors, Browser Debugging (e.g. Web Inspector, Firebug, WebDev Toolbar), Templating (e.g. Twig), and Preprocessors (e.g. SASS, LESS, ...).
  • Creative and conceptual thinker

Job description, tasks

• You will be the UX/UI design expert at UniWeb for all websites and applications  
• Liaise with clients, account managers and product owners to establish objectives and KPIs for user experience
• Manage all forms of requirement gathering, user research and usability testing, ensuring the best methods are selected for each project.
• Build high-quality, functional prototypes that convey, prove, and advance the vision of future web sites and applications.
• Create of all UX design specifications: wireframes, prototypes, user flow diagrams and interaction designs.
• Design and build user-friendly forms/interfaces based on functional specifications.
• Develop Templates (browser and platform compatibility) while maintaining quick page load times.
• Advance design thinking as you support our engineering teams.
• Take initiative and produce results while collaborating effectively with our web development teams in Belgium and Latvia
• Keep abreast of the new technologies. Learn new skills and improve existing skills
