Our product Vigo is a rule-based conversational chatbot that guides post-stroke patients through their recovery process at home. The program is tailored to each user, and is based in three domains: (1) physiotherapy to renew range of motions, coordination and build up muscle strength; (2) cognitive-behavioural therapy to help overcome mental disorders such as depression, anxiety and lack of motivation; (3) education about stroke and other practical aspects of life after stroke.

Our technology stack currently consists of an app for iPad in Swift, microservice component in Node.js and dashboard for administering content and reporting in Angular 8.2. It will be in your hands as a Technical Lead to further develop our technology stack.

Our team consists of digital health enthusiasts, including doctors and therapists, post-stroke patients, developers, UI/UX researcher, product owner and content managers. We work in an agile way in short, high-paced sprints focusing on delivering the highest value to users quickly. We are currently looking for a Tech Lead that would enrich our team with technical knowledge crucial to our product.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• take full responsibility of technical solution and all decisions around it
• implement best technology practices to enable higher development speed and product quality
• work closely with product owner to help prioritizing next product features as our user base grows
• step in to implement new product features when needed

We expect you to have:

• at least 5 years of experience in software development
• experience with Javascript and/or iOS technology stack
• examples from your career demonstrating strong drive and end-to-end ownership
• excellent communication skills to convey complex technical messages and see “the big picture”
• experience working in cross-functional and product-focused teams
